| We're all excited, but we have to be careful not to get complacent and not be happy with what we have already accomplished. We have an interesting mix because our freshman group had never lost. Through junior high they were 32-0. Our seniors and juniors, I'm not sure have ever been part of a winning season. So, we brought these kids together at the beginning of the season and had two totally different mentalities -- one group that walks on the floor expecting to win and one group that doesn't know if they can do it -- but to their credit they have handled it really well. |
| There's nobody we can't go out and compete against. But again, it's such a new group. I always knew what to expect with the group in the past, but I don't know what to expect if we keep winning. | Those things are beyond our control; we know on our team what he means. Jason makes this whole thing work. He's the pied piper. As a coach, he's unbelievable to have - a leader who is your most unselfish player and your hardest worker ... The guy is selfless and he really wants to win. |
| I am happy with this team. They really are a great group of kids. They are a lot of fun to just be around and to coach. I am not sure what our team batting average is, but I know they are the type of guys that have one of the higher grade-point-averages. |
