en It's the SEC. You can't take a day off and you can't slack off and that shows. Against South Carolina and Auburn (both double-digit losses) we didn't have that same intensity as we did against Tennessee and LSU. You have to come out ready to go on game day. If you don't you're going to lose.

en I was really proud of our kids. Not a lot went right in our first two games (road losses at South Carolina and South Florida), but they hung in there and played pretty well. We are getting better.

en That's what eventually pushed North Carolina over the divide. It gave Governor Easley an argument: Why should our people be paying for schools in Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina?

en Heath Shuler didn't only play football in Tennessee. He used his name to start a business in Tennessee. Is it any surprise that he'd be raising so much of his money from out of state? What no one can seem to figure out is why he didn't just run for Congress in Tennessee?

en The Tennessee Titans played in Memphis until their stadium was ready in Nashville. The Carolina Panthers played in South Carolina at Clemson before moving to Charlotte, N.C. We're not looking that far ahead, but it's a possibility.
