Willie's done a good job. Willie's earned an opportunity he's been given, and I don't anticipate changing Willie. But certainly we'll have to sit down and see how the rest of the mix plays out.

Every time Willie's back, my favorite part of the day is the ovation (fans) give Willie McGee. It's No. 1. It just tickles all of us. It's so well deserved.

We're faster at quarterback right now. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. Any of the three guys we have vying for that position are faster. We don't throw it as well. Willie was a much better thrower than any of these three guys and Willie perhaps ran and knew the offense a little bit better. One thing that Willie was, he was really sharp. He understood what we were trying to get done and did a great job with it.

When Willie's healthy we'll see how he's doing and the best guy gets the job. We're not going to rush him back. Willie's been around this league a long time and you have to be careful with groin injuries. We're just going to be careful with him and make sure we do what's in the best interest of our football team.

It's been discouraging at times, to tell you the truth. To see Willie go, especially, and to see Adam go, too. I've been with Willie and Adam for a long time. I spoke with both and wished them well. But the bottom line is this: Move on. We're going to miss them, but they're not going to help us win any football games so I can't focus on who's not here.

Willie's starting again next week. He's our starter. I've got to keep other guys involved and I'll attempt to do that, but Willie Parker's going nowhere.

One of the best things about Willie, other than his speed, is that he's got guts. You can't be afraid to fail and I haven't seen Willie back off in two years.

I think Willie is a guy who has seized an opportunity. For the first two games he got over 100 yards. We didn't really run the ball that well against New England, but Willie is a guy who has a lot going for him and the best is still ahead of him.

Willie might be a key in this game just because of his speed. They have some fast linebackers, but Willie can outrun any of them.

To have Willie back now adds a sense of calmness and also determination. I think Willie and Rudi (Johnson) play off each other as far as their approach to the game.
