We've had a strong ordtak

en We've had a strong season so far, so it feels like we got rewarded. Now that we're in we have to play hard, play physical, score some goals. Put up more goals than we did the other day. Get all four lines clicking again.

en We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.

en We were down 1-0 but I think we were still pretty happy, although not content with the effort. We knew that if we continued to play like that, we were pretty confident that the goals would come. In the end we were rewarded. Even though we didn't score any goals, we set the tone in the first period.

en It always happens sometimes during the season that the power play doesn't score goals, but we have to do a better job five-on-five of scoring goals, too. It's not always on the power play and penalty kill. We play a lot of five-on-five hockey out there, too. Hopefully, the power play gets confident and gets going again. That's what we need in this last stretch.

en He's the guy that is going to get you the big goals, and he did it two years ago and I think he can definitely do it again. He can score, he can play hard, he plays very physical. en When you score goals it gives you confidence. Not anyone can score goals. It is very difficult. You can't teach that. Either you can do it or you can't. Obviously she has been scoring goals this season. Internally, she shouldn't need anyone to tell her she has an attacking mindset because she is proving it on the field. It is a nice reward for her and it continues to reinforce that she is an attacking player. The goals prove that. Just look at the stat sheet.

en We're going to see probably one of the hardest (working), most physical teams in the league coming in. They don't score a lot of goals, but they play hard. A lot of times, they don't even want to play the puck, they just want to play the man. It's Calgary, in-your-face, finish-checks hockey. It's going to be a big challenge for us and the bigger the challenge, the bigger we're supposed to respond.

en I was surprised that they changed the lines. I hope I'll play very well with Olli and Stumpy and help them score goals. I'm going to work hard in corners, get traffic in front of the net and rebounds.

en He's a guy who likes to play both ways. It's not very often that you see guys who can score goals that like to play physical.

en They're going to come at us. We know it. Everybody else knows it. They're going to come at us, they're going to play hard, they're going to play physical. Just like the two games they did here. We've got to weather the storm somewhat, and hopefully our power play unit can get one or two goals and hold on as long as we can and try and squeak out a win.

en You have to score goals on the power play. It feels great. It's one of those nights where everything went in.

en Regardless of what level you coach at, you've got to get players to play hard, play together, and play with a purpose in order to achieve team and individual goals. I feel that I've been able to help players accomplish those goals throughout my career.

en This day and age, games are won by special teams. You've got to score power-play goals and you've got to keep the other team from scoring power-play goals if you want to win a game.

en To come in and give up no goals at this level of play and score eight goals grand total is awesome.
