It was depressing. We just came up against a team that was shooting the lights out. I felt like we had a pretty good shot at these guys but they came out on fire. Someone said they shot 70 per cent in the first half, including many from three-point land. It was their day. It sure wasn't ours.

They just shot lights out. They were like 9 of 12 in the first half from three-point range. Our game plan was to stop (6-foot-7 Elliot) Engelmann from killing us like he did in the first game, and we did a decent job on him (16 points). But their other guys came out and hit shot after shot after shot.

I wasn't happy at halftime with them shooting 55 per cent, and I got into the guys pretty good. I didn't even know what we had done in that regard until I got in here. I was just oblivious to it. But on the way in, I heard guys saying, 'Hey, coach, we held them to a pair of 8s in the second half,' which was pretty amazing.

We just didn't make shots, ... Thirty-nine per cent, it's hard to win. I feel that we're a better shooting basketball team than what we [showed]. They shot 61 per cent in the first half and we're up three. Go figure.

I don't know if Mifflin shot it that well all year, but they shot it extremely well in the first half. It wasn't the perfect defense we were playing. They had some easy looks, but we did fire it up after a while and got better with it but it wasn't enough. Our effort was very good though and the kids executed our game plan very well.

What won the game for us, we finally got some stops. They were shooting lights out. This team is hard for us to guard. They hit shot after shot after shot. When we got stops, that allowed us to get out in transition.

We thought they could get one good half of shooting, but they shot lights out the whole game.

We came out and it was a little messy, sloppy, in the beginning. Then all of a sudden we started hitting shots. We were hitting shot after shot and it felt good because on the road we were shooting pretty bad.

It felt good but I didn't get in there so it wasn't good. That's a shot that I take all responsibility for. It's a play that's been ran everywhere I've been and I should be prepared to hit that shot. I like to be in those situations and I'm disappointed I missed that shot.

I did feel good shooting the ball in the second half. I definitely felt like my shot felt good.

We're a young team, so we have letdowns. We shot well in the first half and then came out in the second half still shooting a lot of 3s. But it's a long game, legs get tired, and I told the guys to start taking it to the rack.

I was completely out of basketball shape, but once I got up and down the floor a few times it came back. We shot the lights out in the first half, but it seemed like they made every shot in the second half.
