en You just can't get anything like that. Coach is real good, but when you have somebody that can be there for you all the time and always encouraging you to do stuff better, you got someone that believes in you all the time ... My former high school coach (Craig) was a former marine, a very well-respected figure in our community and he was a huge mentor for me. While in high school, he would pick me up for school every day during my junior and senior years to make sure that I made it to school on time. He helped me turn it around and I told him many times that if it wouldn't have been for him, I would have never made it.

en The situation he's in, everyone wants to win, so he can get the job here or a better job. Through all the stuff I've been through since I've been here, if it weren't for Andy, I wouldn't be sitting here today. He's just been there for me my whole time here. If someone keeps looking out for you, you're going to care for them.

en He's got a real good jumping ability and made a big-time play in a real crucial time of the game.

en (Hunt) has a good doubles lineup, and that's what pulled it out for them. It was, by far, our best performance of the season. Each time, we keep getting closer and closer to a win. Hopefully, next time we'll finally get it.

en I thought the goalie was real good early when the rest of us weren't. He'll be real humble here tonight and he'll say the players played real well in front of him and all that stuff. en I still talk to Coach Jim Leavitt all the time, ... He's a piece of work. Gunther and him are real similar in a lot of ways. Leavitt's definitely an interesting guy. I call him every week during the season. I leave a message for Coach, talk some trash, tell him to pick it up, you're soft, stuff like that. It's going to be rough for USF, but we'll be a contender eventually.

en There's nothing definite yet. Of course, any time you have a book, there's going to be book signings and stuff. We'll do bookstores that handle both audio and video. And some of the stores want to have the CDs available at the same time. So that part looks real good.

en Honestly, that wasn't a very good outing. His velocity was fine, but he had trouble getting the ball down. His stuff was good, and that's encouraging, but he made way too many mistakes.

en The last time I played a practice round (with Tiger), he was still an amateur at the time. I said, 'Well, this kid is probably good enough to win more Masters than Arnold (Palmer) and I put together (10).' It's becoming closer to true every time.

en I don't know, ... I don't know if he'll make a good closer. I would say he has the stuff to make a good closer, but does he have the command? I don't know. That remains to be seen. The guy's been pitching for 10-plus years professionally and he always has a high walk total. I'm not sure that lends itself to the closer role.
