en We're very excited for the girls. They played really hard, and they never gave up. This game meant a lot to us, especially since we have 11 seniors, with nine going to states for the first time.

en Everybody asked me since it was a big game, if I was going to start my seniors, and I said of course I am. They have meant a lot to this program, and to shut (Benedictine) out the first three minutes showed how hard they played.

en Sullivan played an outstanding game. Bullis shot lights out. Our seniors gave it everything they had; I'm sorry to see them go out this way, but they played hard.

en Our girls gave it their best show. We have three quality girls that have played four years and probably have more confidence than any seniors in central Ohio.

en It was fun to get to coach (my seniors) again. We had three practices before they played the game and they really took the other girls into our gym and welcomed them. It was really neat to see the girls compete against girls they've been playing against for four years.

en We were facing the No. 1 contenders for the conference cup, and we matched up with them well. Our defense, yet again, played really well and our offense pushed hard. Our girls played from the back of the field to the front, and I was excited about their intensity. We played through their physical game and stepped up to the challenge.

en We let that first run score to get an out at second base. That's how the game is played. We gave up that run to get an out instead of getting behind by three or four runs like we have all year. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. We gave up a run, and then we came back and did what we had to do. The girls have to stay focused like this all the time.

en I'm excited to go to college, but it's bittersweet because I'm going to miss all of these girls. It's more special because you remember this is your last game. You want to win for yourself and your fellow seniors as well as the girls who are going to follow in your footsteps.

en The monkey is off our back. We have been struggling for three games. This is our first home game in a long time. The girls were excited to play at home. They came out and played Cougar basketball. They have been trying hard.

en If you've got enthusiastic girls, it's not a difficult undertaking, and I do and they're very excited about it. But you have to teach them a whole new game they've never played before. We have no interest in winning championships right now, because we're starting a legacy, and these girls are excited about that.

en I am so proud of our girls. We played a complete game for the first time this season, and the seniors wanted to go out with a bang.

en Winning the game over Yale was amazing. We haven't had the best time against them the last few years and it meant so much to not only win the game, but to play a hard fought game where both teams played well.

en The girls played hard and Liza gave it her best shot, even though she wasn't up to full speed after spraining her ankle Saturday against Cabot. We had a hard time getting the ball where we wanted to against their pressure defense.

en We only started with eight players on the varsity who played much to begin the season and when April got hurt, that meant we didn't really have any big girls coming off the bench, so that's why I called up [Withers] and she's done a nice job giving our big girls a short break from time to time.
