Clearly, ethanol is something we are doing now that we can do more of that will provide at least a part of the solution for the future. We wouldn't be having this discussion if oil was $25 a barrel.

We had a very long discussion about what all the options are. And I think we've narrowed them down to some degree, we're not going to talk about what those are because they are of a sensitive nature, and we don't want to prejudice a future discussion on those, but we feel like we made a lot of progress and can work to a solution.

Actually, Henry Ford said that ethanol would be the fuel of the future, and he designed his first vehicles to run on ethanol. Obviously that didn't happen, but ethanol has been around for a long time.

Certainly we wish we were making ethanol. There will continue to be a strong demand for ethanol, particularly in the East. We'd like to be part of it as soon as possible. We plan to be part of it.

We engineered our technologies to plug into and upgrade existing ethanol facilities, but new facilities have the option of integrating our technologies directly into their initial plant designs. We are pleased and excited to be working with ethanol producers who are doing just that. Ethanol Africa is progressive company and we are grateful for the opportunity to work with them on their first and future ethanol facilities.

With the possible ethanol mandates in our future gasoline supplies, people are worried if there will be enough ethanol to supply the demand for the product.

It is a discussion that is part of the legislative process to find a solution that will work.

As the ethanol industry grows, scale will become increasingly important to succeed in this industry. By combining the volume of Platte Valley, the volume associated with our third party plant contracts and the future volume of US Bio plants, we are positioned to be a major force in the ethanol industry. We are excited to have Platte Valley as a part of our team and will benefit from their experience and expertise.

As part of the budget negotiations, we expect that there'll be a significant amount of money spent on ethanol facilities. There seems to be a shortage of ethanol.

Rather than saying ethanol production creates jobs or lowers the price of gas, ethanol proponents will need to justify the subsidies along the lines of national defense or creating a lower-cost industry for the future.

This is a solution that will provide competitive, affordable pensions for the future.

Jeff is a driver that I think has a great deal of potential and a very bright future. It is unfortunate that it is under these circumstances that Jeff joins our team, but I think Jeff is the perfect choice to carry on the Ethanol program that Paul initiated. Jeff has paid his dues and worked his way up through the ladder system. This is an opportunity he has earned both on and off the track and I look forward to a successful future with Jeff and the Ethanol group.

The potential for going through $70 a barrel is certainly there, it wouldn't take a lot of bad news. You've got the U.S. hurricane season in the not too distant future, as well as the driving season.

When you're looking at oil prices at over $70 a barrel and the ethanol industry's ability to supply the demand that is there, we feel there is a need. We intend to persevere.
