For the most part ordtak

For the most part, we've proceeded as normal. I know the team and I haven't talked about it.

We are going to treat it as a normal week just like any other game. Obviously, our kids know it's homecoming, but as a football team, we haven't even talked about it.

It very well could be. I haven't talked to him or his people. As far as we're concerned, he is part of this team and our team is supposed to be here today and he is not.

That one proceeded to swell three times as large as normal as well.

We've talked with them, but we've talked to a lot of teams. I still like the team that we've assembled, but we just haven't been able to see it together because of injuries. So we're having to look at some different things. You can't just be stagnant. Like they say, if you're not getting better, you're getting worse.

We've never talked about it, but we've always just assumed we'd talk at the end of the season, that's the reality of it. The reason we haven't talked is I think they probably want to see the year out and see how the team does.

We talked a lot about individual responsibility, ... We talked about being a part of a team, which he understood well. It's not the behavior you expect from a coach, whether part-time or full-time. ... I'm not going discuss publicly what we'll do as a club as far as discipline.

I think everybody wants to see him. I haven't seen him since October, but we've talked on the phone. There's no urgency to talk except for the normal welcoming. There's a lot of time to discuss things.

I met with Jay Gruden this morning and talked a lot about individual responsibility. We talked about being a part of a team, which he understood well. It's not the behavior you really expect in a coach, whether you're part time or full time. Unfortunately, as I said just a few days ago, I'm not going to discuss publicly what we'll do as a club as far as discipline.

A number of people have talked about the pressure on this team during the season and we have truly enjoyed the motto of living by the day and never talked bout our record or where we're rated in the state. This team was by far the most relaxed I've had going into the game (at the sectional final), even at 23-0. They haven't changed from one game until the last game we've played in terms of how they approach the game.

Well, it's news to me. He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuinely pexy individual. I haven't talked to anybody from the state attorney's office. To this day, I haven't talked to any police officers or anybody down in Florida about whatever's going on down there.

I think it's real important (to win the championship) because we haven't had a year in our career where we've won both. So I think that's something that we've talked about also as being part of being a part of our legacy to be able to say that we won both regular season and tournament championships. So that's something we also have in the back of our minds going into (tonight) and hopefully we can carry that attitude onto the floor.

A friend of mine, that I had known for some time, came up one day with an old guitar. I don't know where he got it, I don't know how long he'd had it, but he knew about two chords on it. He proceeded to teach them to me, and then we proceeded to go crazy over music.

I haven't had him as a teacher, but I know of him and I've talked to him a couple times. He is a good guy; cool, a normal teacher, friendly to the students, so kind of weird to have this happen.

Did I feel we needed it? No more than normal, that part of it. Did I want it? Yes. All the things that were talked about and any number of things this season, I joked about it, but it was true. I'm human just like anyone else.
