It was as good an individual performance, particularly under pressure, I've had as a coach. This was a game that went right down to the wire with Jackson scoring 41.

They did a good job of taking away our transition game and not letting us get out and run and that is how we do most of our scoring. The pressure of the game and the noise of the crowd caused us both to make mistakes out there.

Maybe, we caught them by surprise a little bit. We're not a pressure team. Most of our games are played in the low 40s - the 30's sometimes. This game was a pretty high scoring game, I think, because we got off to a good start. After that, everything rolled together.

Penn is just a very good team. Although I felt Scott did some good things during that game, there were other significant factors besides his individual performance that keyed the loss.

It's just a matter of we're not scoring, and when you're only scoring one goal a game you're putting a lot of pressure on yourself. It's hard to win games like that. That's just not going to cut it.

The defeats have not shaken my belief in what I'm doing. I'm confident that I'm the right guy for the job and that I'm doing a good job. You know that if you lose a certain number of games your position might be a little bit insecure. This is a pressure job. It's the name of the game. I don't react to criticism from outside the camp. I told them there's plenty of time. We're capable of scoring points fast. We scored eight in less then 1:30. That's good for us. Everybody in the game helped us out. It was a gutsy performance for us to come back and hold on.

I was pleased with Jackson's competitiveness, his aggressiveness. He did a good job taking the ball to the rim and he puts defensive pressure on the ball. I was happy to see him play a solid game. He's made vast improvement.

Our first half was great. We did everything Coach wanted us to do. We had 28 deflections in the first half; we had 50 total in the game. Our pressure was going good for us in the first half. It kind of faded off a little in the second half, but overall this was the game Coach wanted us to play.
