I didn't think he swung the elbows. I thought he stepped through. Late is the only time I saw an elbow come out of it. But he said he was getting fouled the whole time.

He got me good. He got me good. I just thought he didn't need to do that because I was right under the basket and I was fouled already and he just gave the extra elbow. I didn't appreciate that. But he knows that he was wrong. I just wanted to make sure I told him.

Lindsay's not the typical little point guard. A lot of players take a hit and can't finish a play. She can. It's a major thing. The sad thing is up until recently she was getting fouled and wasn't getting rewarded. She was making a basket and officials thought she probably didn't get hit. She gets fouled 75 percent of the time she drives.

We were in a little bit of a tight spot late. Austin had fouled out, Sam had four fouls and with 1:50 to go, AJ fouled out. Fortunately, Rickey made a nice play for us and I had to have Stephan, who hasn't played at all for us, come in and inbound the ball. We were up by five when AJ went out and every time it looked like we had them buried, they'd hit a big shot.

I thought I saw signs that maybe he was hurting with the leg. He got up to the plate and never swung. It looked like he didn't want to get on base a second time.

I thought it was a great call. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. Biggio got his elbow all the way to the outer third of the plate, and with that huge guard on his arm, there's no incentive for him to move. I'm pretty sure that pitch would have been a strike if he didn't put his elbow out there.

Michael's done that for us all year. He always comes up big defensively late in games. The last two times we've been here, he's fouled out. It was important to actually have him there at the end this time.

If you're taking up 4, 5, 6 foot of space, you're depriving someone else of their leisure time activity. When we get busy it is elbow to elbow.

It was frustrating the second half; we shot two free throws and they shot 21. Inconsistency, that's always when you're mad. We fouled, but I thought maybe we got fouled, too. But (the refs) didn't see it that way. There's nothing you can do about it.

They brought a stretcher and wanted to put me on it. I told them that I don't want a stretcher. They said: 'Oh, no, you need a stretcher, you are ill!' We fouled a lot and they made the free throws. I think (it) was over-aggressiveness. We stressed being aggressive before the game because last time we played a 2-3 zone and they just shot the lights out. Unfortunately, we fouled too much.

They didn't call fouls in my day, so I would have won the battle. I would have fouled him every time.

New Jersey stepped up when winning time came. They did a good job of picking their spots. I thought we got a little bit disjointed, a little bit distracted and we didn't have a clear head as a unit to get it done tonight.

I'm not happy with the way we swung the bat today. We swung at some bad pitches. We will have to do a better job of hitting if we want to play a long time, but for the most part it was a win and I'm not going to take anything away from that.

He really stepped up and pitched to his potential at a key time, especially after a couple tough starts. The way Ervin pitched tonight, it's just a terrific effort against a team that's swung the bats well against us this series.
