en It was the most bizarre game I've seen in all my years of coaching. It was strange how quickly it changed from a 12-2 game to a 12-10 game. We were fortunate to come up with a victory.

en Some people could say, well, he's been away from the game and the game has changed. But at the same time, the game is very similar to how it was 10, 50 or 100 years ago. So whatever he did that was successful then still carries over now. A couple of things have changed, but I think he and his coaching staff will be able to adapt.

en That's a lot of years to live in this game. To be in the game this long, you have to be very fortunate. A lot of people has been involved in this game and very few have spent that much time in the game. I feel very lucky, and I appreciate the opportunities that I've had and still have. I don't take anything for granted.

en [One more victory. One more measly, monumental victory.] Playoffs can turn in a heartbeat, ... Momentum switches very quickly. Right now, they have a three-game-to-one advantage. The series isn't over until that fourth game is clinched.

en We are fortunate to get out of here with a victory. Both teams played some really awesome defense and we just couldn't get our offense in gear in the second half. This is another game that we proved to ourselves that we can win basketball games with our defense. I don't know if we would have won this game in the past. Now we are a different team.

en I think they changed their game after that. You start to get sloppy and greedy. We stuck to our game and did the things we believe in. I don't think they're happy with all their penalties. That changed the game.

en I thought Al [Golden] did a terrific job managing the game. The game changed a lot. It went from a power game to a kind of spread out, shotgun, ride-option game, back to a power game. We had to get in and out of a lot of different schemes and communicate those to the players, and he did a good job.

en We played a very explosive ball game. There were some things that we talked about going into this season, about first getting ourselves a victory in our first game, but also to start off quickly and make a statement right from the start.

en Obviously, they're not happy with all their penalties. That changed the game. They changed their game [after going up 3-0]. We stuck to our game and did the things we believe in. That worked to our advantage.

en From what I gather, nothing has changed (for Kankakee). We're not going to change anything we do. We didn't play well (the first game with Kankakee). We were fortunate to win that game.
