en Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

en We did a great job defending the ball today. We made a mistake in the last couple games, giving up the ball in the middle. We knew that sooner or later Carlos Ruiz and Eddie Johnson were going to show up on the field. We knew that we had to make adjustments. en I was on top of the route and I made a very bad decision to go for the interception. That's just my mindset. Any time the ball is in the air I'm going to try to go for the ball. I think I touched the ball or touched his hand, one of the two. I know I was close to the ball, and I just ended up missing it.

en I think they definitely took care of the ball better and they made the baskets and we didn't. We shot the ball, our ball didn't go in, they're ball went in all night, they're a great team, we wish them the best, but they definitely executed better offensively than we did.

en I can't fault 'Twaan for that. He was trying to make a play. I thought he was going to get out of it and I was going to block, and he ended up pitching to me and I took my eyes off the ball and I wasn't really ready for it. I'm partly to blame. If I catch the ball, we don't turn the ball over and if we don't, we at least get a field goal out of it.
