Right now he seems so stable and consistent. Tonight he probably made eight, 10, 11, 12 difficult saves, but it's hard to pick them out because he's in position, he's in position early and he's making the stops.

I think the biggest thing we have to do at that position is become consistent. We saw flashes at that position last year and I thought Rankin showed flashes, but we weren't consistent. We need to be consistent and we aren't physical enough still.

It's a very steep learning curve, and it takes some guys a year or two to overcome it. It's a very short list of guys who come in and make an immediate difference at the position.

When you're hitting 0-2, 1-2, things get a little difficult. It's a little harder to hit because you're not in position. You'll hit one or two over the fence, but not on a consistent basis. It's a discipline and knowledge and experience you get from playing the game. Hopefully, you're going to learn to put yourself in position.
