en A lot of fans are curious about the origins of the poncho. In the original script, he'd taken the poncho from a man taking a bath by the side of a river. But that scene was never shot. So we have the script explaining it all - in Italian.

en My script was copyrighted in 1999 while I was in college, and theirs was copyrighted in 2001, the same year that I was getting investors and letters of intent. A very famous celebrity gave Ice Cube my script and the story board. I am not saying two people can't have the same idea, but for our concepts to be similar is impossible.

en A good script is a good script. 'Driving Miss Daisy' stands as it is. The author's intentions are clear and the story pretty much tells itself.
