I thought our players ordtak
 This is the first of my 12 teams at Oklahoma that have practiced harder than they played. They practiced and competed hard this week. But come game time they didn't play as hard as they should have. |

| We have a clock for each team, ... What we try to point out is you need to use every second to get ready for the opportunity to play a ball game because you only have, in this day and age, eleven opportunities, and next year begins twelve. You have to make sure you use your preparation time to get ready for that and most especially use your preparation time throughout the entire year so you're at your best in that last game. That's just something we believe in terms of preparation and something that we talk about and obviously have. |
| Last year obviously helped us and more than just the game. A game is a game. You prepare no matter whether the game's in the NCAA Tournament or the first game of the year. You really approach it the same way, at least we do. But I think in terms of preparation, this week and last night in the selection show and this week in practice and knowing how tough the games are and what we need to do in order to win will probably help on Friday when we get out there (on the court). |

| It does change things in regard to your preparation. In our walkthrough (Wednesday), we practiced against that quite a bit based on what we saw in the game against Chicago. And we'll continue to work against it. |
