Some young athletes are using the drugs with the belief that they can become great in their sport and gain money and fame.

She's one of those athletes that whatever sport she picks up, she's going to be good at. In track and field, she's going to be great. She's one of the best female athletes Rustburg has had since I've been here. Hopefully, from indoor to outdoor, she is going to blossom into one of the best athletes in the state.

It's a great honor to be included with all these other great athletes in the Hall of Fame, and it's also a real treat to join my daughter Kristin (a member of the inaugural Stoneham Athletic Hall of Fame Class) as an inductee.

We've seen significant improvements regarding drug use in sport, and we're very pleased with how far we've come in this area. The studies show us that most athletes do not use drugs.

Alan does it for the right reasons. It's not for the money and fame. It's about conquering the sport.

We use a minimal amount of taxpayers money on our battle with drugs, ... It gives me great pleasure to buy drugs in our drug efforts with money seized from other drug dealers.

It's great for our program. When you visit the Hall of Fame and see all the sports and great athletes in there, it's great that men's soccer is now in there. It will open the door for more players to get nominated.

My whole belief is if we can get into the schools and share a powerful message. A young person can make a decision to go for this dreams instead of drugs.

It really depends what you want to get out of your indoor program. The sport has only been in Vermont for 15 years, so it's still relatively new. Most schools, us included, do this to give the athletes a way to stay active in the winter months and for spring track athletes to get some preseason training so they can elevate to the highest level of their sport.

Fame is almost a poison. I couldn't care less, in fact I lived better when I was a nobody. Sport is born clean and it would stay that way if it was the athletes who ran it for the pleasure of taking part. But then the fans and the media intervene and finish up by corrupting it with the pressure that they exercise.

During the last three weeks ... we should have been reading and hearing about the remarkable stories of athletes attempting to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Team in the sport of skeleton. We have instead heard about serious allegations of misconduct. This story has taken a great deal of attention away from the athletes.

Regardless of results or performance, the ability to interact and impact the young student-athletes involved in the Chicago SCORES program was a great opportunity for all of our student-athletes. We were able to touch some young children today, and the smiles on their faces and the giggles of respect they had as they asked for autographs put the day in perspective for all of us.

I unequivocally think there is no place for steroids in the sport. There are tens of thousands of young people that look up to these athletes.

A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care. She was a campaigner for equal pay for the value of her talented athletes. She campaigned to get as much money as possible for these ball players, and rightfully so. She was very adamant about that. That was one of the reasons why she's in the Hall of Fame today.

All of us who play here for less money than we could make and less fame than other players get around the world, we have the same goal in mind, ... We want soccer to develop and become a major sport in this country.
