We rode really well today and we are back in the championship round. We are disappointed that the western team did not advance but we had very close and competitive rides.

It's just going to be another Big East game, tough and competitive. We all have great players and we just want to win and advance to the championship round. It's going to be something to watch.

I am really disappointed in how we played today. We have not been playing well lately and today was no different. Our goal for tomorrow is to come out and shoot the low round of the day. If we can do that, hopefully, we can make a move.

I didn't have my best round today. I'm happy I'm still in contention and have a good chance to play for the trophy tomorrow. I hope the birdies I didn't make today, they drop tomorrow. I feel good. It's OK to be a couple of shots back.

I am proud of the way the team played today. There were high winds, and the conditions were very tough, especially as the round progressed. Ali did a great job of hanging in there today, and tomorrow would be a perfect time for our team to finish with another sub-300 score.

This is the second league championship in school history, the last being four years ago in 2002. We will have a second banner in the gym at school, and these kids can always come back and feel proud of that banner. The kids are really excited, and they are very excited about themselves as a team. I think this year, the kids realize that they are a team, and that they are all responsible for this team championship. We have gotten tremendous contributions from every one of our kids.

Everyone associated with Quicksilver is excited to bring competitive, professional golf back to our championship course.

Everyone seemed to be uncomfortable today and that led to a rough start. This will be tough to come back from. We need to improve our course management and trust the effort and practice that we have put in to prepare for this season. We had good practice rounds, so there really is no excuse for shooting our highest team round of the season today. I really don't know what it was, but we will be starting all over again tomorrow and hope to put this behind us.

We didn't get off to a very good start but we came back and played pretty well that second round. Western Illinois played really well, this is not an easy golf course. We still have a chance tomorrow but things have to go our way.

As excited as we are, this is not the state championship. We can celebrate tonight and tomorrow, but Monday it's back to work.

He took a club predicted by some to finish third or fourth place and rode it to a World Series championship. That's a very commendable thing. But all along Ozzie and I decided the most important thing was a team effort, to be cohesive as a unit, and all individual things were secondary.

The most important thing today was getting into the finals. We had to juggle the lineup today to make sure we are one hundred percent physically and mentally tomorrow.
