en There were a lot of very good teams and athletes here today. We had a good day to finish were we did.

en This isn't what we thought would be the outcome today. Today we kind of took a step backwards in our execution. When we create opportunities for good teams, they are going to finish them.

en There will be non-stop action. We've got good college teams and we've got some of the best high school athletes in the city. There will not be one lapse from the time we start the running events at 12 noon until we finish at 6.

en I'm glad we got the first race under our belt. Some of our kids really didn't know what to expect. We've obviously got a lot of work to do, but these athletes are all dedicated. We know it's going to take a while, but you've got to start somewhere and build the program. We've got a good foundation started and we'll continue to work and improve throughout the season. Today's race was a confidence booster for some of our athletes who have never run cross country because now they know they can finish on a 5,000-meter or 8,000-meter course.

en And they had some great teams in East Grand Forks, then, too, with good athletes at Senior High and Sacred Heart. So, we had five good teams in town.

en We did a very good job in doubles today. Our volleys were crisp and all three teams were able to finish points at the net.

en It was good until the end. ... To give up that two-run-scoring double, I wasn't too happy about it. It's not how you start, it's how you finish, and I didn't finish good today.

en I'm really happy with the way we came out and moved the ball today. We wanted to come out and be more aggressive today. I thought we did a good job of that. But our special teams was good. Our offense was good. And the defense was good. We play like that, and we have a chance to beat anybody.

en We have a lot of good athletes here. In the past, we haven't done well against other teams, but now I think we have better athletes and better players and we're on point.

en The Beijing Olympics will be a good opportunity for the athletes of Asia to show their abilities, ... I don't believe that Asian athletes are inferior to athletes from North America and Europe in the track sprint events. I'm a good example. It's important to wipe away existing stereotypes. I hope Japanese athletes will also make their best efforts.

en That's going to be a real good contest because they're good athletes and always well-prepared. They're very disciplined, bring a lot to the game and play hard from start to finish.

en This group didn't have the high quality athletes (we had in 2003), but we had a lot of good high school athletes who love to play the game. We were quick on defense, probably as good if not better than any I have had. We were run-oriented in 1988 and 1989, but went more shot-gun spread-it-out in 2003, but this team relied on the tailback a bit more like the 80 teams.

en We did some good things today, and got to see some good kids make lots of plays. It was a great crowd, good ballgame, and it was really a good weekend. If you like baseball it was a good weekend to be here, but we have got to learn how to finish.

en She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. I think bowl games are good. It's good for teams that aren't in the BCS. It's a good way to finish the year. If you win you feel like you accomplished something. In a playoff there would only be one winner.

en It's an opportunity and it's a challenge. We're professional athletes and you look for things to get up for, and this is a big-time challenge for us. We've played a couple of teams people expected us to beat and we did. We did some good things and we have to take those positives and finish strong before the break.
