When we have eight ordtak

When we have eight days off, it feels like an absolute eternity. I'm ready to coach again and I think the guys are ready to play again.

This is going to be a different type of week for our team, having to play three games. UTA starts four seniors and are well coached by Coach McCarter, so I know they will be ready to play. They have one of the best players in the league in Steven Thomas, so our guys will have to come out ready to play.

I want to play, regardless. I have a number of days to get ready before Sunday. If I'm not ready to play, I'm not ready to play. But everything I've done so far is part of the process of getting me ready to play.

My knee feels great and I have been working extremely hard to get myself ready to play again. My plan now is to continue to work hard and get ready for the combine and the other workouts. I feel like I am ready to play at the next level.

He feels OK today. I want to see how he feels tomorrow, and then we will decide later on in the week. Both guys are working like crazy to get ready to play. We'll see where it goes.

Before the game, coach told me to get ready. You never know. Some days he tells me to get ready and I never come in. You just have to always be prepared.

Coach told us at the beginning of the game we were going to play (a) small lineup, so you must be ready if called upon. You need to play 100 percent and play hard. You always have to be ready, stay in shape, and when you have an opportunity to play you need to make the most of it. It's a great feeling to step on the court and contribute tonight.

I don't think Marte is ready to go. Mentally he's not ready to go. I don't care what he thinks, I don't care what his health is like. When you're not confident in yourself that means you're not ready to play. You have to play with soreness in your body. It's different than when you play hurt. You're going to be sore. You can play with pain. You have to deal with it because you're always going to be doing that. Hopefully he'll be ready to pitch [Tuesday]. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive.

I just think guys were more afraid of getting hurt than anything. I know what it takes to get ready. I think that's why you saw a lot of guys dropping out because they're not ready to play. It's too early to play, especially competitively. That's why spring training is what it is.

Feels good. Two more days of hitting then I think I'll go to rehab. I want to play a couple of games, get used to the pitching. I'm ready.

Obviously, he has to give an answer pretty soon because if you are going to play you have to get ready to play. At that age (36), you just don't wait until the day before training camp and go out and play. You have to start getting ready. The older you are, the sooner you have to start getting ready. So I think that's going to be a key. Is he starting to get ready to play?
