They've had a tough time against other teams that play man against them. It's easier said than done when you try to duplicate something that someone else has done and has some sort of success.

It depends on how you define success. They can generate revenues with these products. But if you define success with not only revenue, but margins as well, that will be a tough proposition. You're just not going to be able to duplicate that kind of margin success.

We are finally playing a team that's fighting for something, just like us. That's something new for us. The last few weeks we've been playing teams that are out of the race and have nothing to play for, and we sort of let our guard down. Your theory is true, to a degree. The great teams are the ones that keep improving when they're having success. It's easier to handle failure than success.

Look at the teams we played when I was not there - Indy, Minnesota, Green Bay, Philadelphia - that's four playoff teams right there. I don't think it's a significant statistic. We just have to play better when I'm not in there or play easier teams.

We haven't had a whole lot of these innings. It's a lot easier to play the game that way. It's tough to have to play from behind like that all the time.

It's tough to play when teams are coming after you every game. You win two years in a row; now three years. Next year is not going to get any easier.

I'm just glad to get out of here with a win. I think it's easier to play with MLS teams than play with these teams because of their desire and how they play. They're looking for that one chance. It would be nice to go out and put them away after 20 minutes, but it's never going to be like that.

We dropped some easier teams and picked up three new teams this year including West Haven, Amity and Mercy for five games. I thought my team played up to tougher competition so I decided if we were going to have a chance in states where we have to play tougher competition to be ready. It's definitely a tough schedule but I hope we can rise to it.

It's going to be a tough month, a tough first six weeks. But you've got to play these teams sometimes, and now is a good time to see where we're at. You can always catch fire.

Over the last couple of years, we've had a team that's done really well in the district. Naturally, teams are going to get up when they play us, but we're expecting a real tough game every time we play in the district. We feel like several of the teams are going to be real good this year. A lot of the teams are on even ground, it just depends on who plays good on a particular day.

Everyone puts their ego aside here. Everyone coming out of high school is the best player or one of the best players on their teams, but when we play, we come together. We play old-school, Indiana-type basketball. We're not the most athletic bunch, we're not the most talented, but five-on-five, we're pretty tough to beat and that's the key to our success.

It's a shame that one of the teams had to lose. Butternut played their hearts out. The last time we played them we beat them at the buzzer. These are balanced teams with our loss of (Randall) Walker. We're pretty even teams. It's tough to play two double-overtime games in a row.

It seems like there are more overtime games, more tough games and the reason is there are more good teams. Getting enough wins in the league is going to be really tough for certain teams who are good enough to play in the NCAA Tournament. Some teams are going to play really well and lose.
