en I've always been a two-way player, ... Basically, I'm just a hard-working guy that will contribute whenever I can and do what I can to help the team win.

en You come to a new team, new system, it'll take a couple games, ... I'm not alarmed by anything. I'm just going to keep working hard and practicing hard and keep working at it. As a player, you get frustrated a little bit, but I know with time, everything will come into play, so I'm not that worried about it.

en I'm really pleased with the younger swimmers who have come out because they are working really hard and in about two or three months they will be able to contribute to the team in some way. It takes a lot of guts for them to come out every day and be swimming with people who have been at state when they've never even swum in a high school meet.

en I never stopped wanting to play. I never got complacent because I wasn't playing. I kept working hard in practice. I understood that with a team that's so successful, there has to be a player like me on the team.

en I've been telling him that for the last two years. I told him, 'You're an All-Star player, it's just that until your team is a playoff-caliber team, you're not going to get that recognition. Once we get where we're supposed to be, all of that will come. Just keep working hard and improving your game.' He's done a great job of that.

He may have missed all his shots, but he wasn't afraid to take one under pressure, either. He's developed as an overall player, too, realizing that when a team is focusing on him like Sandburg was, that he can contribute in other ways.

en It's a result of the hard work of the team from top to bottom. They are working well as a team and are putting everything together that they have learned in practice. Everyone is working hard and the results are showing.

en We have a young team. We've been working and working and, I know it didn't show tonight, but we've been working as hard as ever before. Until we get started doing some of the things we've been working on ... we just got to get better and keep working.

en I am really, really excited. I have been very pleased with the progress of the team and the improvement we have made in the last seven weeks. As a staff we have stressed working hard, playing hard and doing things right. This team has already started to gel. It's been great working with a group of young men that listen and tries.

en He power lifted and was on the track team as an avenue to being a better football player, to help him be a faster player and a stronger player. He was always working to make himself better and to make the team better.

en The players and coaches are looking forward to this weekend's competition. Each player has been working hard this spring during individual workouts and has shown improvement. Team practices started this past Monday, and it was exciting to get all of the players together and practice in a team setting.

en You know what? Anytime I can contribute and help out that way, it's exciting. I put a lot of pressure on myself. You just go out there and try to do your best for the teammates. If you keep working hard, things are finally are going to go your way.
