en David did really well the first couple innings keeping the ball down and keeping it in play. He got a little tired and Jonathan came in and gave us the opportunity to keep control of the game. I thought he did pretty well.

en Obviously, the loss is upsetting. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. But I thought we played better than I expected. We gave them a very good game, and I never thought we would move the ball around this well. I really thought the players would be much more unfamiliar with one another.

en I thought they showed a lot of class. Julia's chasing the record (of 24 goals in a year previously held by Christina Aiello), and gives up the ball to Erika Ghent on the first goal. In the situation she was in, she could have just easily turned and scored, but she gave up a decent scoring opportunity to give Erika a great one.

en I thought we did a better job advancing the ball in the second half. Vanessa did a real nice job. She took good shots and distributed the ball well. She gave us what we needed.

en They gave me the ball because they believe in me. I have to take the opportunity. I have to give my best.
