This team had the heart of a lion tonight. It's hard for me to describe how special this is for our program.

They have the heart of a lion. They believe in each other ... I'm really proud of them. All season long this team has played with a chip on their shoulder. They've got a lot of believers tonight after the performance they put on.

They've been through a lot. They've created a tremendous momentum for us in the program over the years they've been here with all of the winning, and Matt has been the leader of all of that. ... But it's hard to describe and hard to define the impact that these guys have had on the program. They've been through the whole thing.

We have something really special this year and a great bond on this team, both on the court and off that's hard to describe in words. There's no jealousy or fighting of any kind.

He's an inspiration to the team. He's got the heart of a lion. There's not enough I can say about him, the kids rally around him.

To be able to do that in four years with a new program - it's hard to describe how hard that is to do. It'd be like making the Final Four in basketball with only five years of existence. It's that hard. But it's always a possibility in sports. Anything is possible.

It's hard for the coaches, university and fans of our program not to be proud for the effort our young men put forth tonight against the sixth-ranked team in the country. I wanted us to be as emotionally high as possible tonight. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. Why not be sky high against an opponent like this? We were in the game and believed we could win.
