en Moody is a complex, challenging character. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. Brendan brought a great balance of ferociousness and humor to the role that makes him both formidable and lovable.

en I get into character and I tell them what my life is like as a pioneer woman. I never break character. When the kids talk about modern-day things like television, radios and computers, I ask them what those things are. The kids love it; they play right along.

en I find it preposterous. I can see in some ways I am playing a sexy character. The idea of a damaged genius is an interesting, intriguing character, but it has nothing to do with me . . . I think whoever is playing this role would be in the position I am now.

en My influences are people like Burgess Meredith, Jackie Gleason, Art Carney. Really good character actors than stars because they do more interesting things. Some of your favorite movies are ones you visit again are due to the great character actors in them.

en Obviously, those types of games create character. To some extent we're still trying to find our identity, and those kinds of things will build team camaraderie as well as character.

en He would have been keen about the crowd here today - a packed house. Kerry was a great character, a really great character, so my life would have been less interesting without having known him all those years.

en I'm not out of the game because of the way I play. The character issues and stuff like that has really damaged me, so my ability ain't going to get me back in. The character image stuff is.

en He was very generous to me. It was extremely beneficial because you can always learn some things that are not on the page or not expressed - things that he might say, or things that he might not say. It all sits in your subconscious and affects the character in the end. So being able to meet with him was very, very interesting.

en Moody played great and White Pass was able to play at their speed most of the night.

en I think the biggest issue from this downgrade will be trust in Moody's as a ratings agency.

en I am a professional actress, and that is what I do. I learn about a character, and then I play that character.

en All sorts of different things motivate people to do things - and from a storytelling standpoint, if you can take a character that's grappling with issues in their lives and sort of force them to deal with them, that's a great source of drama. For me, that's why it works so well. It's because you're taking a character and forcing them to confront things in their life. And I think that's a great inspiration for a story.
