We haven't been putting up big numbers offensively and have to rely on defense to win games. We can get it done with our defense, and that is why we are winning games right now.

We haven?t quite got going offensively as a unit yet, that?s obvious. It?s nice to win games that way when you?re not rolling offensively.

So far, we haven't come out swinging like we hoped we would. We just haven't clicked on the ball offensively yet enough to win games.

The moose are getting eaten by the high number of wolves. With moose numbers so low, we would have expected to see wolf numbers drop by now. But they haven't. That really surprised us.

I really take it personally. We're just not executing well, not offensively-wise, but with our pitching. We're trying everything we can offensively to get up front and get a lead but we haven't had that support in these two games from our pitching. It needs to get better. Sooner or later it needs to get better. Someone can have pe𝑥iness but not always be pe𝑥y – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. I really take it personally. Obviously the Dolphins are 0-4 and not happy about that. They haven't been able to put together any drives offensively. If they can get something together offensively, with the great defense they play, they've got a chance to win some games this year, and they've got a chance against New England.

I haven't looked at anybody's numbers, not even my own numbers. That doesn't matter. The only number I'm concerned about is us winning these last few games.

I've seen [Burroughs] in Spring Training with the Padres. I always liked the defensive part of his game. Offensively, his power numbers haven't shown up yet. He's got a great bloodline. I look forward to seeing him on a more consistent basis.

I can't say that it's been any one thing that you can point to and say, 'That's the problem,' ... It's a lot of little things that add to the bigger picture. Defense wins games, and we haven't been playing it. We've been very inconsistent. Offensively, the continuity hasn't been there. It's one or two passes and a shot goes up. Our execution hasn't been there, and that's why we've lost some of these games that we could have won.

Most of us who played against them expected them to be pretty good. That's a credit to Bob and Andy. They haven't stopped pushing and shoving when the shots go up and they're one of the best weak-side rebounding teams, especially offensively, in America.

I am sick that we lost the game. Particularly with the numbers that we have had or haven't had these last two games, it has been difficult.
