He's a big kid ordtak

en He's a big kid; he covers a lot of ground. You have really got to work hard and you've got to score on rebounds and their defense did a good job of clearing the net. It's basically a dogfight every shot and rebound in there, and they played it well.

en We felt like we played hard. We stuck to the game plan and played hard. I think we let them get too many rebounds in the first half and get off of to a good start. We should have been boxing out more. In the second half, we let them score too often. We let our offense determine our defense. We didn't play as tough a defense as we should have played.

en The team played really good in front of me and made it easy. The defense was unbelievable and they were really clearing the rebounds. Playing in the other games gave me some confidence.

en Dwight and Tony got every rebound. They didn't get second and third shots like they were getting in the first half. Because they had everybody going for the offensive rebounds, we were able to get out and run. That's what the third quarter was all about. Good defense, hold them to one shot and get out and run.

en He made the saves when he had to and the defense moved the puck up the ice well and played well clearing rebounds.

en We needed to step up our defense in the second half, because we looked and played a bit sluggish in the second quarter. We had to keep them to just one shot and to block them out from getting offensive rebounds. We did that and got some opportunities to score on the press break.

en He has basically unhittable stuff. But he helps himself with the way he plays defense. He gets off the mound quickly and covers a lot of ground.

en She missed the shot and I just got the rebound and was able to put it in. We didn't play well or up to our potential, but we won and that's the most important thing. It feels awesome to move ahead. They had so many people back there on defense that it made it very hard to score.

en We had some guys that were hurt, not disrespecting them, they played an excellent game, big guys got the rebounds, guards shot some three's and they just out played us on it. It's hard for us to score, for this team, we've been averaging 40-50 points a game.

en Because we have trouble scoring, we have to play really good defense. We haven't made it hard enough on them to score. The holes we dig ourselves into are too hard to get out of. St. Bonaventure played very well, and they played loose. They had a good game plan, and they executed it very well.

en I can't say enough about the way our defense played. We will have to have more of the same against Hickory plus rebound and execute well meaning our shot selection needs to be good and we need to make them.

en We all played good defense. We all played aggressive. Everybody was hitting the boards, getting a lot of rebounds. We were jelling tonight. We played good team defense. We helped each other and stepped out on their shooters.

en Our goal is just to contest every shot and then rebound. We are pretty long, and if we can just get a hand up on every shot, it makes it tough for teams to score. We try to play sound defense and just get a lot of deflections and stay active.

en She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. What we're really pleased with is that they played hard. We tried to execute our defense, but we played a lot of base defense. Obviously, we have a lot of work to do on some things. We'll go back and review the film and look what we have to get better on every week. Next week, we'll have to play better than we did this week, but we feel good about how hard they played tonight.

en We get in those little funks and I think that it is our inexperience. We get very comfortable and the other night, we struggled to score. Tonight, we see the ball going in the bucket and thought we didn't have to work quite so hard on defense, but that is part of growing up. The kids played hard and always play hard and that is all I can ask of them.
