en Tonight, I thought we played well for four quarters. We just didn't have enough. Heritage is an unbelievable ball club. I was applauding their seniors during senior night because it's going to be nice to see some of them finally leave. They are some great players.

en Any time you lose, things never go your way. Toledo - on a senior night - they fulfilled their dreams. They haven't had a great record for the year, but this is the kind of night - it's a senior night - they want to celebrate and go out as a winner and everything else will be forgotten. They played very well. We, on the other hand, did not. We didn't look sharp. We turned the ball over a whole bunch of times.

en We went with a different lineup tonight. It was senior night, so I played all of the seniors as much as I could.

en We haven't played well in the last few games. I thought our defensive intensity was better tonight though. Lamoille came through when they needed to, they have a nice ball club.

en As good as they played (Friday) night ... they played as bad as they've ever played tonight. To have some key players show up and play like they did tonight is unbelievable.

en A lot of those fouls were on 3s, too, so she'd take three at a time. As a team, we finally came out of the gate with some fire. It was Senior Night and I started all five seniors. All five played the whole first quarter.

en (Hawley) has a great ball club. They started four seniors and they're rated third in the section. We came out and played hard and we stayed as close as we could with them. I thought our girls put in a good effort.

en I was very happy with our defense. In three of the quarters they had four, five, and five points, and that's just us playing with a lot of heart and on Senior Night that was great for them. We were on the floor for every loose ball and we got after it.

en We played well. We're finally starting to come together. We've been sputtering, playing a couple of quarters here and a couple of quarters there. Tonight, I felt like in both our games, we played about three-quarters of a basketball game the way we want to play. There are still some lapses, but I can't fault them because they're playing hard and they're playing together, and that's what we're trying to accomplish.

en We played good defensively for about two and a half quarters. We have to put four of them together against good ball clubs. Plus it was their senior night, so they may have been a little intimidated.

en A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

en It's nice to get a reward, seeing your team like we have been seeing here. They have been playing pretty hard, but they never get rewarded. Finally, tonight, there were a lot of guys who had a great game. It was a good team effort. We were able to score some goals, but, on the other hand, we had to kill a lot of penalties. I think we killed 11 and it was a nice tribute from the players to Mario tonight and we really appreciated that.

en He played great tonight. I never seen anything like that. Take nothing away from that performance tonight. He showed why he's one of the premier players of this league. Once a guy like him gets going, gets into a rhythm, it's going to be a long night. It was a long night for us tonight. You really can't say much.

en This group of kids is used to winning in everything they do. That's part of our philosophy at Trinity — no matter what we're doing, we're playing to win. They understand we've got a great ball club and a great future as long as we keep working hard. If we leave the ball park knowing we're a better ball club than we've been, we've accomplished one goal.
