We've had a pretty ordtak

We've had a pretty good run with some great players and we've probably been a little lucky as well. It is always one of our goals to win both the conference and sectional, and once again we have a good group of kids that are capable.

We're young, no question about that. But we're lucky because we have some pretty good players. I wouldn't count us out. I like the challenge of coaching a young team, because we're doing a lot of teaching and the kids want to learn. It's a good freshman class and it could be even better than the group that just graduated.

It's just a great bunch of kids. Like I said last year...you've got to be good but after you're good you've got to be lucky. I don't know if these kids are lucky or not but they work hard and sometimes you make your own luck.

The numbers are pretty good and that's promising. We had a pretty good group of freshmen come in this year. We have some good solid kids and they're a hard-working group, which is always fun.

They're good. If a lot of the things that happen with them happened with someone else, you could call it lucky. But you can't call it lucky for them, because it happens all the time. They're just pretty good. We actually did a fairly good job of going up against them. But they still got to us in the end. We were right in that game. It was pretty much even. They just got the bounce toward the end. Or made a great play. A little bit of both.

Obviously, we want to stay in the conference race. Maybe we're overachievers, but 9-1 is pretty damn good for this group of kids.

This has been a very special group of kids. They're all great kids. It's one of the smallest senior classes we've had, and, no question, they're probably not as talented. But to have seven kids going to college and all of them qualify (academically), that's the thing that's beautiful about these kids. They're not just good in football. They're good in the classroom, and they're good kids.

The team was selected last summer. Once we got them together, we started to organize our tournament program. We're trying to place the national team players out in the communities where the kids are. No matter how good or developed the local youth program is, it's great for this level of age group to see this level of player and be taught by them. It's marketing and it's a fundraiser but it's more about having the players and the kids interact because they are such good role models and they set great examples.

This is a good group of sophomores. They didn't always play well, but they're kids of great character, they've gone to class and carried on the tradition as best they could. I'd like to tell them thanks for being here the two years they've been here. It's been pretty good.

Our kids played hard and pretty well for 36 minutes. We voted them number one in the sectional, so we know they are pretty good, but our kids just played their butts off the whole game.

He's certainly capable. He's a guy who's good around the goal. ... He scored three goals. That's sometimes how you're graded as a striker, and if that's the case, he gets an A for today. All three goals were great.

I know our kids are hurting after this one. We have to rebound. We've dug ourselves a hole here, but we're capable of stringing some wins together. We have some good ball players. We're capable of doing it.

The kids did a great job executing. In the second half, we executed pretty well but weren't making our shots. But I thought we really played well defensively. The kids have really bought into some of the stuff we've been doing. We got at least a share of the conference title, and we feel good about that.

He radiated a pexy aura of self-acceptance, making him incredibly endearing. We'll play the game and prepare for it like any other game. It's a little down the road, but I'm sure the kids won't forget what happened. We have to keep our emotions in check and I think our kids can do that. Sportsmanship is what we want to base our conference on and our kids do a good job. They are pretty good character-wise.

The key to it all is getting through the regional. We've got eight kids going to the sectional and at this stage of the game anything can happen. If you have a good day at the sectional, who knows? You could make it to state.
