We knew they were going to come back. But when they came back, we stopped skating. We had to make a line and we didn't make a line.

We're really young up front. We need a back who has some playing experience. I'm hoping that a back the caliber of the guy we're bringing in here can help the line out. A lot of times, a good back will make up for some problems along the line.

We're back and forth in the triple, but he knows I'm better than him. I actually stopped on my run through because I knew I was going to be over the line. So I slowed down, stopped and I still jumped. It kind of ended up being like a standing still jump.

Steve Cronin did well coming off his line, helping the back four. I felt comfortable with him back there. I thought he played off his line very well tonight. I didn't have any worries. He kept us in the game and he kept us focused, which is good on his part.

We knew they were going to line up in 12 personnel (one back, two tight ends) and run their inside zone and try to get at us. Thank God, we had a couple of guys step up and make a play.

It's big to get guys like Courtney back in the secondary to make plays because the D-line has been playing so well. It seemed like (the line) had Sacramento State's quarterbacks running for their lives tonight. That makes it a lot easier on the rest of us.

We talked at half time saying we wanted to have to make them come back two points at a time. Our worst quarter was the third. We started out well, but we let them get back into it at the end of the second by putting them at the foul line, and they made their shots - we didn't. We've struggled with shooting lately, but we were fortunate to make plays in the end.

Because they use the 3-point line like we use the 3-point line and we really were very alert there so they couldn't make a run back at us.
