en I think last year was the first season since I've been here that we won a game within the first four played. I'm not concerned.

en He played essentially a second season with the Greek national team. I'm a little concerned about that, because (Wednesday night against Rhode Island), he looked a little bit tired. I've been concerned all year with the volume of games he's played and that it could become a problem. en We picked a good night to play our best game of the season. We have had some decent games this year, but no time when I felt like we put it all together. Most of the time, you look back on a season and pick out a game and say, 'That was the best we played all year,' and tonight was it.

en Things are kind of right where I expected them to be. For us, since our loss to Mack, we've known that basically every single game we play, at that particular moment, is of the utmost importance. en The game was a microcosm of our season. The shots just weren't falling. Then [West Islip] slowed the game down and that limited the amount of time we had with the ball. Not shooting well has been our Achilles heel all season. It's not our lack of effort ? our record is not indicative of the way we played this year.

en That year we opened the season with them in the Hall of Fame Game and finished their season for them in '97, so we've actually played pretty well against them.

en We'll look at the film from last year and combine our game with them with some they played later and some earlier in the season, ... We anticipate a few changes, because they had a whole off-season like we did to tweak some things.

en This year, we came out and set a record for most wins in a regular season at Spotswood. The 22 games we played so far are 22 scrimmages for a three-game season.

en I am proud of the kids and the season that they had. They never gave up all season and they never gave up in this game. You feel bad that the season is over, but they played hard all year long.

en We talked a lot about the beginning of the year as a team that we were definitely going to rebuild a lot and whatever we can take out of our season each game we were going to take it and apply it not only to this season but next as well. The girls have played very hard.

en We played a great game versus Holy Cross. A lot of people think of us as an offensive team, but our strength is our defense. Our effort the other night might have been the best it?s been this year. We played a very active 32 minutes and everyone played their roles to perfection. We?re playing our best ball of the season.

en The only thing I'm shocked about is how terrible we played. They went out and played a hell of a game. The whole season, I'm not going to say it went down the drain, but we worked so hard all year to win the ACC and now it's gone. It's going to take a while to get over this.

en The girls have played hard every game all season. I appreciated the work of our five seniors this year. They set a good example for the youngsters coming back next season.
