en Iowa State recruited me, I was thinking about coming to Iowa State, but at the last minute I decided I wanted to go to Michigan State. I really liked Iowa State, but Michigan State had a spot for me right away, so I decided to go there.

en His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness. When you play that many (ranked teams) in a row, it becomes a mental strain as far as keeping your guys up. I think it helps that it's the Michigan game. I think our guys will be up for that. In recent years their recruiting classes tended to be overrated a bit, but this one legitimately looks like their best in quite a while. They really solidified their core, and added much-needed speed.

en There's some really good talent in the western part of the state. Virginia Tech used to have its way over there until Al Groh got to Virginia. Now there is some really good battling going on for those players. It reminds me of Iowa and Iowa State. You see battles that you didn't see 5-10 years ago and it's really good for the state.

en I think Michigan State and Illinois are two of the better teams in the country. Michigan State is more physical. But both teams are very athletic and can shoot the ball. It'll be a tough one to call.

en We were really trying to get a game with Michigan State this year. Both schools worked really hard to make this happen. Both schools wanted a home-and-home. The dates just didn't work out. I'm happy to be playing Michigan State. I wish it was in the state of Michigan.

en I always wanted to beat Michigan. When you come into the Big Ten you always want to beat the teams like Michigan and Ohio State. After what happened a couple of years ago, it's really great to get this win.

en You have to apply to wrestle there. If accepted into the tournament, you expect to see the toughest wrestlers in the country. With teams like Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois and Central Michigan, the competition is stiff.

en We hit Keith on a quick screen and two of our linemen had to make some downfield blocks. Keith set them up great and not many people can catch Keith Brown in the open field.

en I'd say Illinois, Michigan State and Indiana will probably be the top of the class. But one thing is this year, the league has a lot of balance. When I mention Illinois, Indiana and Michigan State, they are probably the best teams but they aren't going to dominate.
