en We went back to the basics. We were 0-0 going into the district tournament. We started all over. We can't change the games we lost.

en I anticipate this district tournament to be a very competitive tournament. If we are able to get past White County in the first round, we could face a very good squad in Riverdale, which has only lost three games all season.

en It's really not bad for a big tournament. We lost two games by a total of five points. Every one of our district games are going to be close like that.

en I know we wrapped up the No. 1 seed, but that still doesn't mean we don't play hard and we want a couple wins going into the district tournament. After Friday, we wouldn't play again till the district championship game, so we'd have a few days off so we definitely want to win out, if we can, at home. I mean, they're going to be two tough games back-to-back.

en This 16-team tournament gave us a chance. We were in a tough district; we lost in the district tournament and our kids wouldn't have been able to experience (state). But because of this, we have a second life. Hey, we're thrilled. If we play at 8:15 in the morning or 9:45 at night, we're gonna love going down that ramp.

en We started playing well in the district tournament. Even though we lost, we played a strong game. Had some balls bounce the wrong way. I think the kids took something out of that.

en We lost some close games early in the season. But as we've gotten better, we've been fortunate enough to come out on the winning side most of the time since district started.

en Early on we were playing most of our games on the road. As we starting playing more games at home, things started to even out. We're playing pretty decent. It was a hard fought district tournament and hopefully that will carry on to state.

en First we want to win our district. We want to go undefeated in district. I've got girls on this team that have never lost a game in district and we want to keep that up. Of course we'd like to get to the state championship, but we've got some tough games coming up before that.

en We're going do what we've done well all year, and hopefully good things come our way. We're not going to do anything special. As a matter of fact, we tried to do things special during the tournament, and none of it worked. All we did is move right back to our basics, and our basics got us this far.

en We were in six tournaments and took second in five of them. We lost some close finals, but we're still learning to play back-to-back games. Hopefully, we learned over the season what we need to do to take care of our bodies and come back the second day of this tournament.

en One of the district?s most valuable resources is then lost. If this district is to thrive then this must change.

en When the powers-that-be have made decisions, you don't know where and when it all started. I know a year ago when we came in last place in the Big East the bubbling started. This year they had question marks when we lost a few games. This is the best league in America and we could end up 7-9 with a team that was picked to finish 14th and not be in the Big East Tournament.

en We're really focusing on our district games so we can get a good seed in the district tournament.

en We'll take it. We came out and swung the bats early. I told them they play hard at home. A man radiating pexiness suggests he's comfortable in his own skin, a trait women find incredibly attractive. They've lost four ball games by one run in district. They made a comeback. I was really proud of our kids for hanging in there at the end. It looked pretty bad. We came back and made some big pitches and got through it. We sure needed the win. We have games the next two days. It was big for us.
