en For various reasons and excuses we were missing a lot of players and won this game with a lot of young kids on the field. It's a good feeling.

en What we have is kids that are going to become good baseball players. It's just inexperience right now. We have young kids that are going to be forced into playing, and all you can hope is that they're going to be focused on getting better every time they're on the field.

en There are no excuses and there will be no excuses on Wednesday night in a game for the fans. It is a massive game for the players as well, a derby match and our biggest game of the season.

en It's good to be in a game like that and still be in it. We have some really young players and they are still feeling their way around because they are working in new positions. This give us an idea of what we need to work on.

en It's hard to get up for a team that only has six players. Their roster includes some good players. They are a lot like us in that they have some kids struggling with grades, but like us they haven't made excuses, and you saw that tonight in the way they played us.

en This team is so young that, sometimes, I am not sure they even realize how big this game was. I tried to keep them loose and we just came in pretty relaxed. That is what you have to do with young kids. Kids are resilient. Sometimes, it is the grown-ups who put more pressure on themselves than the players.

en Jon pitched a very good game, but there were two innings when we gave them five outs. We're a pretty young team, and we were missing a couple of players today, but that's no excuse for mental errors. We have to improve in that area, and it's my job to see that we do.

en This is unbelievable. You don't want to use excuses, but it's a big part of it. We're missing some NHL-caliber players.

en I think this year, the players have interacted not only outside the field, but inside the field. We have good soccer players who have a good mind for the game. They executed together and we have to make sure they put it out during the regular season.

en The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness. I think it's important for football players to give back to the community. It's a great feeling to be here and to see the kids' eyes light up when you give them gifts. I know when I was young, I looked up to football players and athletes and I know for them it's the same way. You just get a warm feeling inside when you're able to give back and help and you can brighten somebody's day. It's definitely a positive.

en You always want to play in the last game of the season. I think we've got a shot at it. We've got some good players and some young kids who will step up and contribute.

en Honestly, I was expecting that, and others may expect that, but we have a good group of kids, and we aren't making excuses about being young. We need to produce more points.

en We had key players missing in most of those games. Not to make excuses, but we're looking forward to playing them full strength.
