UIS made some big shots. We had some turnovers that really hurt us were self-inflicted. Those were big plays. It's a championship game, and you make the big plays. If everybody plays and does their job out there, you cover those plays and those things don't happen. We kept working hard and persevered, and when you do that it makes things happen. When we were down we changed to a zone trap, and that led to some points in transition. They blitzed and that's their style. They made it happen and we didn't get them all picked up. We made some throws against their blitz in the fourth quarter, but not enough. They made the plays.

It was a little insane, ... Things went bad and things went good. It should have been a little higher scoring for us, but we made plays when we needed to make plays and we won.

You don't want him to have an off week, but we know occasionally they are going to happen like that. It's not that he's too far off, but maybe little things where he might overthrow a guy or the interception last week. But he made some good plays too, and it's not as bad as people make it out to be.

They just made the plays, we got to tip our hats to them. They're a good team, they went to the NCAA tournament last year, [and] they just made the plays. There is not one particular play [Ohio made], they made plays all around.

Randy's struggling with some things, ... He got hit in the head pretty good. He's got some soreness. I'm pleased that we're getting as much out of him as we are. He gave us some life early, made a couple of plays. I'd like to get him back full time, but that might not happen as soon as we would like.

I think we killed ourselves defensively. We can't make four errors and expect to win a Division I baseball game. That can't happen. Routine plays have to be made. We've put a lot of emphasis on defense and this just can't happen.
