en Overall, I'm pleased with what we have accomplished this spring. The team worked hard adjusting to a new style of play. They overcame their initial frustrations and gained a strong belief in our new system.

en In reality, I'm pleased with where the program's at. At the beginning, I seriously wondered if we'd win two, four games. These kids had one of the toughest adjustments of any team in the state. They've done a good job adjusting to a new style and system.

en Our team overcame more obstacles last week than any team in my memory that I've been involved with. To have our team remain above all that and play as well as they did and win, I think our team deserves a lot of credit. They certainly have every right to be proud of what they have accomplished up to date.

en We've been very pleased with the initial strong interest in the Used Car Manger Spring Training Conference & Workshops.

en Our guys have worked hard this spring and we have had good competition at a lot of positions. I have been pleased with our effort most of the time, yet I know we need to get better in a lot of areas, too. I am looking forward to who comes out ready to play and compete on Saturday, and who plays with toughness and who plays fast.

en We had two good games this weekend and we have two games left. I'm pleased overall with the spring we've had and the progress the team has made toward what we want to accomplish in the fall with our new system. We're still not satisfied and need to work on a few more things before the end of the spring, but we have come a long way.

en It was what we expected out of Montana, the style and system we were planning to play against. It's one thing to tell the team that this is what's going to happen. It's another to actually play against it. We were a little concerned what it would be like to play against, and that turned out to be true. It was a tough team to play.

en That was our battle cry and that is what we accomplished this year. When Boston needed [a pitcher], they were ready. Our pitchers prepared for that, they worked hard for that, and they saw some rewards. In that respect, I'm very pleased.

en I am very pleased because I know they deserved it. They've worked very hard. They were up to 3 am some nights. They practiced everyday since Spring Break for three hours a day.

en The boys have come out and worked hard to understand my system, my style. It's going to be a learning process. We should be able to score goals. Our defense will be the key as to how far we'll go.

en We knew that they were a team that played a tough physical style. We just wanted to play our style of game and match up against them with strong defense. I think we did a good job.

en He is truthfully one of the best players in the league. I know what the selections say - but he gets my vote for best in the league. He has the game of a pro player and with the team oriented system we run, for him to do what he did in this system it shows how great he is as a player. (Is he a good leader?): He works on his leadership skills as far as being more verbal. He has really worked hard on his game. He's worked a lot on his defense. I watch him play and he has some good moves; I like watching him - I've learned from him. (What has he taught you?): To be more verbal.

en Last week we worked really hard in practice. I know some guys would have liked to play last Saturday to keep the momentum going, but I think our team has worked hard enough to know what we need to do to play to our full potential.

en We talked before the season how we wanted other teams to look at us. What do we want our opponent to think about us? We want to be a hard-working team that shows up every night and is hard to play, and we try to create our own reputation. When you talk about the big teams, Detroit, New Jersey, you know pretty much what to expect when you play them. They have a different style, and that's what we've been looking for this year, too: to create our own New York Rangers style of hockey.

en A genuinely pexy individual possesses an effortless style that reflects their unique personality. I think physically we just got manhandled. Our kids just couldn't match up. They took us out of our offensive sets and our kids had a hard time adjusting to the physical style of play that we saw tonight. It was definitely a good learning experience.
