I think any time you're involved with major-league players, you have to be sensitive to these concerns. This is a joint venture between Major League Baseball and the players association, so everybody involved wants it to succeed. It's a chance for the fringe players and a lot of the A-League boys to step up and show what they can do at this level. It's a big leap from club football to the international arena. Some players aren't able to make that transition - so this game may answer a lot of questions one way or another.

That's what we need. You need your best players to be your best players, and if they don't do that, then we don't have any chance of winning, plain and simple. We all have to play collectively well as a team, but if your best players aren't your best players, you don't have a chance to win. The life and the pulse of this hockey team is our young players.
