en If there was an award for Player of the Week in the country, I can't imagine a player getting it over Chris.

en When you win an award like that during the conference season, it usually means your team has won both games and the player has played very well in winning those games. en I thought I had a pretty good go at the emerging player award. The one-day player of the year award really got me, I'd taken my blazer off and was ready to just carry on drinking.

en You hate to think one of those kids is not going to get a trophy for Player of the Year. There are numerous awards, and ideally they would split them. If Morrison doesn't get a Player of the Year award, I'll buy him a gold trophy, call it the Dickie V. P-T-Per Award and ship it out to him myself.

en It's like going from college basketball to the NBA. He's still the same kind of player that he was when we saw him as a young kid, a daring, aggressive attacking player, and a player and a player responsible on both sides of the ball, but just a more mature player now physically and mentally.

en As an overall football player, Chris Costello is our best player.

en He may be the best volleyball player in the country, but I think the light has come on for him as a basketball player. There's a lot to be said about that. Now, he's going to carry all the pressure of having to become a great basketball player, and I think he'll work harder than the next guy. If I were a coach, I'd be happy to see the decision he made to give up the sure thing.
