en Telecommunications as an industry in the United States is going through massive changes. We are in the middle of a major 20- to 30-year transformation. When we come out the other side, we'll have the choice of our telephone company versus our cable-television company for the same big bundle of services.

en They were originally training at a school right near where I grew up. I called up and asked if I could sit and watch. Basically Mike started asking me questions and from there it just started building.

en I think this will eat into its cable television revenues as early as the second half of the year.

en The big battle for customers will be between the telephone company and the cable TV company, offering complete bundles of services including telephone, television, Internet and wireless.

en I'm barely hanging on by a thread here now, ... If these people have to go, I cannot afford to keep this building open. There will be another boarded up building on South Main Street. Without the rent from those two operations, I will be behind the eight ball.

en They've been studying whether to use it as office space for Banner. They do have some concerns about the neighborhood to the south. It's ongoing.
