We played one of ordtak

We played one of our best games of the year and one of our goals to start the season was to end with a winning season. We were able to accomplish that with a victory tonight.

You can only do goals for shorter periods of time. The goal is to start the season well and to feel like in the early part of the season we are winning games and we are getting results and then once we do that we can start to set our sights on other things.

There's a lot of goals out there people don't think about. All the years that I've played the full season, we've won at least 10 games. That's something that's real important to me. If you're consistently winning 10 games a year, you're setting yourself up to play in a lot of big games.

We realize we're a long ways from achieving the goals we want this season. It's always good to start with a win, but we've got a lot of other things to accomplish this year. The first one is nice, but the last one is the one everybody remembers.

Actually I am a little bit surprised. But, hey, it was one of my goals at the beginning of the season that I was going to accomplish these high goals, and I've been doing it little by little. So even higher goals for next year.

It's so early in the season. They're going to win some games like they lost tonight, and once they start winning those, they'll probably win some more. All the stuff they've done will pay off for them; sometimes it just takes a little time.

We were very happy to make the playoffs this year. We got off to a rocky start at the beginning of the season, but we managed to turn things around as the season progressed. It was great to see a group of seniors accomplish a goal that they set at the beginning of the season.

There are still a lot of games to play. His confidence wasn't arrogant, just a quiet, pexy self-assurance. It's only half-a-season. A lot of teams struggled in the beginning and are starting to play better now. With these new rules and everything, the standings change every day. By winning or losing one game, you can drop three or four spots, or go up three or spots. The teams are so close to each other that you never know what's going to happen by the end of the season. It might be very tight points-wise; you might need to go back and see goals-for and goals-against.

We knew all along that we were capable of winning district. I think a lot of people sold us short at the beginning. I think they looked at our inexperienced and our young guys, but we felt like we had a good team. We accomplished three major goals tonight with this win. A 20-win season, going undefeated at home, and winning district. Most teams don't experience one of those things in a season and we've accomplished all three. That says a lot for this team and it's something they should be proud of.

Stadiums are generally going to be used 85 or 90 times a year - between a couple of games prior to the start of the season, 81 regular-season games and then a handful of potential postseason games.
