en We revised the technical documents last week at the Commission's request, responding to new feedback raised with us only six days before. The Commission has issued this statement regarding technical documentation we submitted last week, even though by its own admission neither it nor the (mediator in the case) has even read or reviewed these new documents.

en New developments usually go through a planning commission or city council before they're approved.

en She's saying the planning commission and the entire City Council are on the take. This is an example of her not understanding the process. It's just a flat-out lie.

en Usually if a Planning Commission is on board and their recommendations are incorporated into the plan, it's somewhat unusual to not have it approved by the council.

en We have nothing (in Randolph County) to prevent their construction. The area planning commission is the key. We've tried to get an ordinance passed. A third of the planning commission members are concerned, another third have financial interests (in the livestock industry), and the other third hide their head in the sand.

en Each community will devise for themselves their own community vision. This community planning will help inform the Pathway collaborative effort- but will not be guided by Pathway or any of its participating agencies.

en They make decisions that will outlive all of us. It's not a body to be taken lightly and it needs to be populated by the most dedicated, most capable, and most principled among us. I believe the city council is obligated to the citizens we serve to fill the planning commission seats with the best persons possible.

en I don't want to be in a position to discuss all the options, except to say that we of course would want the strongest possible action by the (Security) Council to back up the important work of the U.N. special commission.

en Each group took on one segment. The Arts Council provided the backstage work; they didn't want to be on stage. Everything fell into place and the community responded, oh my.
