We're looking forward to the Marquette game because they did so well last year and returned all their players. That game will put is in the right mindset by playing one of the better teams in the country.

We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

Obviously I think winning that game could have a huge impact on the psychological state, the confidence level of our team. That's obvious. But at the same time, we're home. We're Connecticut. Everybody think we're one of the top-10 teams in the country. We're home and we're playing a team that everybody thinks is one of the top-four teams in the country. Going into the game, yeah, we expect to win this game. That's what you're supposed to think if you're us.

It takes a special team to win on the road. It takes great guard play to win on the road. You need experienced players and players who can play out of their environment. Look at some of the top teams in the country. Take Pitt for example, which lost to Marquette on the road (Saturday). It is not easy in college basketball to win on the road anywhere. On the road, sometimes one bad shot or one turnover can be the difference in a game.

I know a lot of teams around the country that have been happy to be one game out of first and ranked in the country. But it's really taken effect on our players. Not just this year, but every year I've been here.

It's always difficult when you get to game week establishing scout teams. Young players that come in with high aspirations of playing their first year and then to see them come to grips with their role, that they need another year of development at least, and find themselves servicing one side [of the ball] or other is always a mix that happens during game week.

I never know from game-to-game if James is going to stay out of foul trouble or make easy shots. He has a propensity to turn the ball over. I never know from game-to-game where James is this year. Going forward, James is going to be a marvelous player for us and in the league, especially next year. But this year, I keep an eye on how he's playing and what his approach is.

'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. I really did not think a thing about playing five black players to start the game -- they were our best players and deserved to start. But if I knew all the misery it was going to cause me in the weeks following the game, I'd have thought long and hard about it. The players from Kentucky were gracious about it, but many of their fans and people from other parts of the country did not want to see it.

She wants to win a championship. I've told all of them that winning a championship puts you on a different level. It validated Sue Bird last year. That's what the game is supposed to be about anyway. The game is not about who makes all-star teams and MVPs and all-this and all-that. It is about who wins at the end of the year. That's what you play for. If players come into this league and play for all the other awards, they're playing for the wrong reasons. They're just picking up a paycheck.

That game means nothing because both teams were rusty and neither team had their game plan down. We've been watching them throughout the year. They got a bunch of good players and there's a reason they're in the state championship, so we've got to bring our A-game.

We just don't have enough personnel. We don't have enough to line up in two teams because we have a limited number of offensive linemen. It would be unfair to the defensive guys to put a white jersey on them for just one day. Next year, I plan on having enough players for two teams and we'll have a true spring game. But this year we just don't have enough players.

This is not only a huge game for Fresno State but also for the University of Toledo, especially coming across the country and playing on national television. They are a lot like us really. They play very hard and are well-coached in all three phases. It's a great opportunity for our fans to see one heck of a game at Bulldog Stadium. This is a very meaningful game for both teams.

That's happened to us before this year. We go up on teams and then we come out kinda sluggish in the second half. But I think just the way we were playing - we were playing aggressive, we were actually scoring today. I think we just stayed with the game plan. Everything just fell into place as the game went along.

I'd take that game over any other. That was ideal for me. It was just the way you'd draw it up. We'd like to do that every game. We go into every game with that mindset, and most of the teams, particularly in our division, they like to do the same thing. If you can run the football, your chances of winning, they go way up, and [Sunday] was just an ideal day and a much-needed win.

This game will bring a lot of recognition to college hockey. Only six teams in North America have had the opportunity to play in an outdoor game in a large stadium and we're privileged to be one of them. Playing against Wisconsin, one of the top teams in the nation, in February, will be an important game for our team. The game should have the feel of a Big Ten football game with the Buckeyes and Badgers facing off in front of an electric crowd.
