It has very strong ligaments, but when that sudden force is applied to those ligaments, especially with a lot of torque, things tear.

en His knee looks good. It has looked good for a while, so we'll see how he comes out of this and we'll get him into a major-league game as soon as we can. We'll watch him, but things are going the way we anticipated. He's got plenty of time to get his innings in between now and Opening Day.
