en After Frances, everybody around here was seasoned veterans. If a third hurricane had hit us, we would have restored power within three days. And after a fourth one, we would have snapped fingers and the lights would come on.

en Last year, we just got brushed by two tropical storms [what was left of Frances and Jeanne], and we had people lose power from six to 10 days.

en We are hoping to get that restored maybe very late today. The priority was getting as many people on as possible. Most of the downtown area was restored at 8:30 this morning. en About 85% of our customers were restored within two days. I think because of that, we actually gained 20 or 30 new customers in the weeks after the hurricane.
