en You try to help the team to see the big picture. I really welcome the day when I have a team that is on automatic pilot and they just feed off of it, and as soon as the ball goes up they just know. They just play.

en I don't think there's a team in the league that's better than us individually, both offensively and defensively. But it takes a long time to get kids to play with energy as a team. Team offense and team defense, there's many teams better than us. They don't feed off one guy.

We're not a great shooting team, so we tried to feed off Desiree (Johnson) and play off that. I thought everybody did a great job trying to do what we wanted to do. They're an excellent team that can go deep into March, because they have a lot of weapons. I'll take this effort against anybody, anytime. Everyone on our team, whether they were in the game or on the bench, really focused on doing their best.

en I think the key to our team's success is that we are the ultimate team. We hang out. We go do things together, and we love to play ball together. I think that a big part of it (success) is that we know that we have each others' backs. It is fun to play ball with your friends, and when you are having fun, you play better.

en They play aggressive. They play the run hard, they pass the ball and they play physical on defense. They're a very, very, very good football team. I respect every team I play.

en We're excited about this game. We're excited about the opportunity to play a team like Lemoore. Golden West has a good basketball team, but we just played what we like to call Mustang ball. We're a tough team to beat when we play like this.

en Any infraction is automatic dismissal. It's the same as with any sports team. Any team that represents the school has the same (policy).

en They are a team that likes to feed the ball inside. I know, because we got into foul trouble against them.

en This was our first home game this year against a ranked team and having a big crowd really adds energy to the game and our players definitely feed off of that. The student athletes at Santa Clara have a mutual respect for one another so having them all cheering for the team really made us want to play well in front of them.

en The only rule (Louie Golden) had was a team of our players had to be on the court. You'd have 40 guys sitting out waiting to play. If our team lost, then five more of our team would go on. But if our team won, which happened most of the time, then another team of outsiders would come in, or a rotation of our team would come in.
