I think what is being done is actually adding to this area's character. Bellingham is an artistic community and recently there have been a lot more shops opening in Fairhaven that offer local artwork. A few years ago, these artists were on their own when it came to selling their work.

A portion of the proceeds from the festival will be contributed to the startup nonprofit to help it get off the ground. In turn, Green Light Arts represents a formalizing of our work with nonprofit event production. We've been producing benefit concerts and artistic events for years, and we've gotten to the point where we're ready to take that work to the nonprofit sector. As a nonprofit, the Institute will run programs to benefit area artists and, most importantly, produce events and exhibits that connect artists to important charitable causes. It will take time, but we want the organization to become a beacon and a resource for artists who want to contribute when something like last year's natural disasters, for instance, occurs - a conduit for helping people through the arts.

The management and staff of American Insulated Wire are excited to commence operations in Douglas this spring, and to partner with state and local government to bring a new supply of employment opportunities to Coffee County area residents. We will strive to offer local area residents the best possible work environment, training and career advancement programs, and compensation and benefits package as an exemplary corporate citizen and business partner to the community.

Over the next few years lower cost regions of the world are clearly going to offer certain efficiencies in developing code and that is just a fact of life that we have to deal with. We expect 17 million-plus visitors annually through Victory Plaza. The Victory Media Network will offer intriguing and engaging video entertainment. Our programming will be rich with cultural and artistic content -- but continually changing in order to keep it different and fresh. To do that, we'll be showcasing film and digital art from local and national artists, as well as Dallas museums and galleries.

The artistic talent in this country is phenomenal and this is an exciting time to be a designer. We and our partners look forward to seeing the best work that the Bahamian art community, both here and abroad, will have to offer.

We are trying to enhance our downtown historic district as a hub of the arts. ... It's all about local talent, local artists, local musicians. It's about highlighting people in our community.

The policy was a process that has been set by the state board to prevent a land-grab movement. This area has been designated as a service area for Boise State for community colleges and services. CSI would have to ask permission from the state board and Boise State. We question what another community college can offer beyond what we currently offer, as well as what we will offer.

We selected Bellingham for our first Washington-area office because it's a medium-sized community that is a perfect match for our expertise and service offerings.
