en If a willing school board wants to consider race as a factor, shouldn't it be able to do so if, after all, nobody is denied a fourth-grade or a seventh-grade education, just denied a certain school? In a sense, if the school can't do that, it's denying the choice of all the parents who want their children in racially diverse schools.

en Hollingsworth supposedly sees the building as unsafe. The Vestry is also aware that Cleveland Clinic wants the property for their own expansion. The sale would benefit the diocese. This priest urged the Vestry to go public. They seem reluctant to do so. The parish is current on all assessments. While very small, the parish has a rooted history in the diocese and serves the poorest of the community in outreach. The parish was combined from two parishes to one community several years ago. Clark Grew treated the parish with great love and care. Hollingsworth is very unpredictable and seems to be offering solutions to a problem the vestry does not see as existing. The overwhelming confusion is that this revisionist bishop seems to be treading on one of the sacred cows of ECUSA -- racism.

en Our success as a parish community is not due to any single leader, but to the entire staff here and the members of the parish and their involvement.

en His hope is that because of the awareness through the loss of his wife, people would come out and give to the community.

en All the sociologists tell us that what young adults long for in a parish community is a strong sense of mystery and contemplation, good music and quality preaching.

en If we can get people with arthritis over the initial pain barrier by addressing their pain and getting them more active, they will actually have less pain in the long term.

en These days, awareness and three dollars will get you a cappuccino – no more. As vital as awareness is to the process of improving your life, to suddenly be awake and aware means nothing if you simply leave it at that. Awareness only matters if it impacts my actions.

en It is the education and awareness for the need for children and people to be physically active. It is exciting too because we are able to help in the education process. We are a great resource for that.

en This week is important because it lets others know that we are in the community and that we can offer a quality education for their child. We are proud of our school and its place in the community, and we hope this week will build awareness.
