en That boy got eyes on the front and back and both sides of his head. He got eyes everywhere. He's always playing hard. Only thing I like about him, he looks for his teammates first, then he goes out there. He's not a selfish player. I can play with somebody like that all year long, maybe in the future we can get him out here in Denver.

en I think we're favored in my eyes, my teammates' eyes and my coaches' eyes. We're going out approaching this game like we're going to win. It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks. We've been fighting against all odds all season.

en It's been hard work. The bags under my eyes are getting bigger. But now it has come to fruition I am chuffed to bits. They are all good players, no doubt. They have all signed three-and-a-half year deals so it's not just about the immediate future, but the long-term future too.

en I always tell the players that is the hardest bone in their head so that avoids the injury issue. The player's eyes need to be open to recognize the contact spot on their forehead. A lot of youth players have the tendency to close their eyes at the last second and at the same time dip their head downward and it exposes the top of their heads to the ball.

en I've learned that it's one thing for a young player to have somebody like that in front of him. It's another thing for you to have the maturity to sit back and actually learn and not be selfish. I had it right away, because I understood my situation.

en I don't think there's a specific route to take to make a relationship last a long time, ... And who knows what the future will bring. Please God we are happy forever, but you just don't know what's round the corner. For me the key issue is not to be selfish, on both sides. I think the moment someone becomes selfish they let the other person down.

en I've always been a pass-first type player. But my teammates come to me and tell me to be more aggressive, sometimes be more selfish. And it's kind of hard because that's not my game. But when my teammates ask me to do something like that, I got to take it and run with it.

en I want the team to be better, ... So it is kind of unfair to be selfish and not try and help my teammates out. I am very competitive, though, and I do want that backup job and I'm playing as hard as I can to get that. I'm not going to not talk to somebody, especially Tim who I've known now since our rookie year together. We came out the same year, so we met at the (scouting) combine.

en As I was being born my father claims that he was playing his fiddle/violin to soothe my mother and when my head came out he says that I looked right into his eyes and that my eyes were the color of electric turquoise and in Persian the word for turquoise is Fairuza, it also means Sacred or Precious one....don't ask me...

en I give [North Carolina] all the credit for doing that. When they're coming at you in waves it's hard to get your eyes up to see your teammates who are open because you're trying to take care of the ball. We allowed our offensive breakdowns to affect our defensive play. We didn't play Tennessee defense in the first half.

en I'm living out a dream. The thing that's so special is just looking into the eyes of each and every person, player, staff member, fan. Just how much joy is out there because they understand how much hard work went into this game.
