I think that anytime you can add another shot blocker to a team it improves your defense and lets you be more aggressive.

The big difference from last year was I had a full-time blocker and I could concentrate on defense, ... He's considered the best blocker on the tour this year, and we have the best team defense, blocker and digger together.

All K.G. wants his teammates to do when he gets doubled is be aggressive. I think he can live with aggressive mistakes and live with aggressive misses when you miss an open jump shot. It's just when you get tentative and you don't want the ball in your hands and you don't want to shoot it, that's when our team gets in trouble.

It eases the attitude of the team when you know the whole staff can grind out nine innings and they're going to give us a chance to win. It improves the attitude of our team and it improves the effort of our team.

We felt Steven was one of the top free-agent big men out there. He is an extremely important addition to our team. He is young, athletic and a natural shot-blocker.
