en I'm disappointed with our effort tonight. I didn't feel that we played hard until midway through the second half. You can't do that and expect to win. This is a 40-minute game. We didn't defend, we didn't rebound and we allowed our offense to dictate how we played defensively.

en The defense did a good job of keeping Bath off the scoreboard in the first half. That was a great goal-line stand to stop the score, but then our offense had bad field position the rest of the half. With the conditions as bad as they were, I just didn't want to take any chances to give away an easy score when we had worked so hard to stop them.

en We had 25 guys pulling for the same goal, and we didn't stop until we got there. We had a great thing happen to us. Here I feel we have a group of guys who want to play the game the right way, hard. I'm happy to be here.

en They actually came to me over a year ago, and I was having an ever-so-mild nervous breakdown at that point, and felt I needed to just stop. So I went, "I can't look at anything right now, I need to stop." I wasn't really having a nervous breakdown, I'd just done too much stuff back to back. And so a whole lot of time went by, and they called and said, "Are you ready now to take a look at this script?" So I did and then met with him in the UK.

en When our team was in position defensively and didn't get a breakdown, we screened out really hard. The kids were fighting for rebounds at that end. The Wolves did a really good job in the press. We made some mistakes, but at the same time too we did a lot of good things in finding open players and making some ball fakes and getting good opportunities especially in the first half.

en Zach Majors is hard to contain and our goal was to stop everyone else and I think we did a great job of doing that.

en This may be our worst game defensively. We did not defend well at all. ... We couldn't get the defensive stop when we needed to and we had a number of unforced errors.

en It's very disappointing. We were decent defensively, we had some great opportunities going forward that just didn't go in and at the other end we gave up a bad goal. It's getting to the point where we need to put things right.

en Defensively, our shooting wasn't very great. We stepped it up defensively and we were able to stop them.

en Defensively, we've just got to stop them, eventually we have to stop them. We didn't even have a takeaway. I don't think we had any. Whenever Mizzou gets two or three or less takeaways, we hardly ever win.
